BROOMBALL

Consistently one of the most popular group events, Broomball is a safe, fun activity played on a roughened ice surface in regular tennis shoes. Using a broom (the broom has actually evolved into a stick with a plastic handle), you play hockey with a plastic ball. The game is similar to soccer, but a lot more fun and a bit more challenging to those without a sure foot. Broomball can be played by up to 50 participants at one time, making it ideal, inexpensive activity for groups of nearly any size. Sharks Ice at Oakland will provide us with all of the equipment and know-how we’ll need to make our broomball event a success!


Cost: $10 per adult - $5 per child
