Hello Healing Waters Volunteers, Family, Friends & Donors!
Healing Waters needs YOUR help to inventory, clean, repair, label and organize our kitchen, camping and rafting equipment in order to shut down camp for the season!
We need help with...
1) labeling, cleaning & inventory of river gear & organizing shed
2) repairing, cleaning & inventory of camping gear
3) cleaning, organizing & inventory of kitchen pantry
4) packing all gear and food that will return to our office for the winter
Saturday, October 26th – “Many Hands Make Light Work!”
The work party will be at our campsite in Camp Lotus. We'll start work around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. We'll have some lunch around 1 p.m. and finish work in time to play a little volleyball!
Dinner will be in Cool, California at Happy Palace Chinese Restaurant.
Bring your musical instruments and singing voices so we can have a jam session around the campfire on Saturday evening!
Sunday, October 27th – “Then on the second day, we went rafting.”
We'll raft the Chili Bar section of the SFAR weather permitting. All volunteers, guides, cooks & trip hosts, friends, donors are welcome to join us!
We really need Hosts, Cooks & Raft Guides to help pull this off and to help close down the camp for the season!
Getting there …
We'll have vehicles leaving Friday evening and Saturday morning for those who need a ride. We'll also collect data on those driving so we can arrange carpools.
Bring a friend who's willing to help and may be interested in becoming a new HW Volunteer!
